Terms of use
These terms apply to the Konark Veda app (in the browser, on Android, Windows and other devices) and to this website. By making an account or buying coins you agree to them.
Last updated: 1 November 2026
1. Who we are
Konark Veda is run by Vipin Joshi, Pal Road, Jodhpur, Rajasthan 342012, India ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@konarkveda.com.
2. What the app does
The app makes practice papers for school and entrance exams, marks your answers (typed, chosen, written with a pen on screen, or photographed from paper), and writes a report on your mistakes. It also offers study notes and lets institutes set tests for their students.
3. Your account
Give true details when you sign up and keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with your account. One person, one account.
If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms and to our privacy policy before you use the app, and should help you with any purchase.
4. Coins
Papers and notes are paid for with coins. New accounts get free welcome coins (one gift per person). You can buy more in packs at the prices on our pricing page, or get them from your institute or as a code.
- Coins are credits for use inside the app only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, sold or moved to another account.
- Coins do not expire while your account is open.
- Welcome coins and coins from codes given free cannot be used to buy notes; bought coins can buy anything in the app.
- If a paper cannot be made, its coins go back to your account by themselves.
5. Payments
Payments in Indian rupees are handled by Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking, wallets) and payments in US dollars by PayPal. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Coins are added once the payment provider confirms the payment; see delivery of coins. Refunds follow our refunds and cancellations policy.
6. Marking and reports
Marks for chosen and numerical answers are worked out exactly. Written answers and handwriting are read and marked by software, which can make mistakes: the app shows you what it read so you can correct it, and labels marks that a teacher should confirm. Reports are for practice and do not replace your school's or board's marking. When the handwriting reader is busy or offline, marking a paper may take longer.
7. Fair use
- Do not copy, share, record, screenshot or resell notes, papers or reports; they carry your name for this reason.
- Do not try to break into the app, get around its limits, make extra accounts for free coins, or overload it.
- Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything that is not your own work for a paper.
8. Our content
The questions, solutions, notes, pictures, software and design belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may use them for your own study only.
9. Institutes
If you join an institute in the app, it sees the tests you take from the day it added you, and can set class tests for you. You can leave an institute at any time; it then stops seeing new tests.
10. Ending an account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms; coins in an account closed for breaking them are not refunded.
11. Availability and liability
We work to keep the app running and your work safe, with daily backups, but cannot promise it will never be interrupted. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the six months before the claim.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Please write to us first: most problems are solved quickly.
13. Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and important changes are announced in the app. Using the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
